Angelica & Nicole's Wedding

Angelica was born in Colombia, South America, and came to Sweden when she was just seven months old. Since then, she grew up in the pink house out on Näset, which explains her deep love for the sea breeze and the scent of seaweed and saltwater.

She also spent her childhood summers in Bovallstrand, where she practically lived in the ocean and in the family boathouse.

At the age of 27, Angelica decided to try life in a new city and moved to Uppsala to study Tourism and travel agent for two years. These were years full of adventure and traveling and see new destinations has always been a big part of but after a short time working as a travel agent, she began to long for home and eventually moved back to her beloved Gothenburg.

But she didn’t come back empty-handed. During her final time in Uppsala, she had found love, and that love has led us to where we are today.

Nicole was born in Chile and moved to Sweden at the age of 12. She spent most of her life in Stockholm, with a short detour to Gävle for three years, before returning to the city she always considered home.

But life has its way of surprising us. After meeting her person, love brought her to Gothenburg, a city she never imagined calling home, but that slowly and unexpectedly started to grow on her.

Nicole’s path to finding her professional passion wasn’t a straight one. It took her thirty plus!  years , two university degrees, and a journey through different careers before she finally landed in a place where she feels inspired, challenged, and fulfilled.

If her career took time to unfold, love moved a bit faster. At 27, she met the one who changed everything. And now, side by side, they are stepping into the greatest adventure of all: marriage.

Like many other modern love stories, ours began on Tinder. At first, our conversation faded and life got in the way and we did not find any time to meet. But eight months later, just in time for the holidays, we finally found a day to get together for some cozy Christmas time. That moment marked the real beginning of our story in 2016, and soon after, we faced our first big challenge.

Nicole was moving to Amsterdam for half a year. Despite the distance, Angelica visited, and we stayed close. When Nicole returned to Sweden, life took us in different directions, again. Angelicas time in Uppsala was coming to its end and she  moved back to Gothenburg while Nicole stayed in Stockholm.

Even with the distance, we stayed strong. In September 2017, Nicole asked Angelica to be her girlfriend. In August 2018, she moved to Gothenburg. After a long time of living apart, our relationship was tested many times, but together we overcame every challenge.

Now, we are about to begin our biggest adventure yet. We’re getting married in September 2025, and we’re so excited for everything the future holds.
